In a given day, a person makes thousands of decisions. Research shows that teachers make about 1,500 decisions during a 6-hour school day. This lesson introduces students to four decision-making steps.
Calm down and observe.
Think about what you want.
Look at the options.
Make a choice.
What will students do during this Lesson?
Following a mindful moment, students will hear a story about a poor decision made by a character and they will have the opportunity to use the four steps to thoughtfully make a better decision. We will end with the students drawing themselves making decisions.
